Day six:
A nomination to a lifetime membership of Tau Sigma National Honors Society for Transfer Students.. no joke.
My school sent me a letter earlier today to nominate me to a lifetime membership of Tau Sigma National Honors Society for Transfer Students. Yea, can you believe it? Am I gonna join it? Of course I am! Why wouldn’t I pass up this once in a lifetime opportunity??
Anyway, to get this invitation, one must be a transfer student (Duh!), have at least 12-15 credits during the first year of undergrad school, and finally have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, or to be in the top 20%. Well guess what? When I found out that I got this letter, I didn’t even believe that I have a 3.5 GPA.. I thought I was close or at least at a 3.5, but nope. I’m almost at a 3.7 GPA.. that’s right, 3.7 GPA! It’s actually a 3.667, but that’s still almost a 3.7. Once I find out my final grade for my managerial accounting class, I’ll prob BE at a 3.7 or higher. Do you know what that means?? If I keep this up, I would be graduating with a 4.0! I’ve never had a 4.0 before, ever. That’ll be shocking if that were to happen! So now, I’m gonna try as hard as I can to reach that level… and to stay above a 3.5. Wish me luck on my final 2-3 yrs of undergrad school.
